Local members are encouraged to participate in the direction and activities of the Chamber. MEMBERSHIP & MARKETING
This committee guides the development and growth of the Chamber by: identifying and contacting potential new members (business and individual), following up on member renewals, and investigating/recommending discount offers and benefits for members. This committee also assists with activities related to promotion, advertising, communications, and public relations for the Chamber.

This committee works to engage all members in the Chamber by establishing liaison relationships with them, and keeping them apprised of upcoming programs, new benefits, and other Chamber opportunities and news. The Buddy Liaisons make monthly phone calls to all their identified “buddy” members (10-12 each) to build engagement and a sense of community.

OUTREACH AND AMBASSADORS
This committee represents the Colerain Chamber at Chamber events, Ribbon Cuttings, and Groundbreakings. They reach out to welcome all new Chamber members, provide one-to-one new member orientations, and answer new member questions. They work with each new member for at least 3 months. They also encourage new Colerain businesses to join the Chamber.

SOCIAL & EVENT MANAGERS
This committee plans and manages social get-togethers for the Chamber (at least 2/year) to build relationships among members and encourage membership retention. They also assist as volunteers at Chamber events and programs throughout the year, and help to coordinate Chamber activities and programs.

HOMETOWN HERO GALA
This committee is responsible for choosing and securing an honoree each year, developing many sponsors and silent auction donors for the event, and encouraging high attendance at the annual Hometown Hero Gala.

CHAMBER AWARDS DINNER
This committee is responsible for soliciting nominations and selecting the winners for the annual Chamber Business Awards, developing many event and award sponsors for the awards, and encouraging attendance at the annual Chamber Awards Dinner.

GOVERNANCE & BY-LAWS REVIEW
This Board committee reviews and updates the Chamber by-laws to insure they are consistent with the goals and practices of the Chamber, and identifies new candidates for the Chamber Board and for Chamber Board leadership positions. They are also responsible for reviewing and recommending solutions for conduct allegations of members, guests, and the Board of Directors.

The Executive Committee exercises the powers of the Board of Directors between meetings of the Board. This committee (comprised of the Board Officers, one at-large Board member, and the President, and chaired by the Board Chair) leads the oversight of various Chamber matters, including budget development and audits, and is responsible for the annual compensation and performance review for the President.
