Colerain Chamber Thoughts – Flexibility during COVID-19

The following interview with Dave Moravec, President of the Colerain Chamber of Commerce was conducted by Sylvia Dwertman, Marketing Liaison for Visiting Angels, a chamber member in Colerain Twp/Cincinnati Ohio. The thoughts expressed within the interview come four months into Dave’s hiring and in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.

SYLVIA – Today we are going to do something just a little bit different, we’re going to take an opportunity for us to get to know Dave Moravec a little better. I’m going to throw out some questions, and you’re welcome to throw out some questions as well, because I think the only opportunity we have had for one-on-one was at the Colerain Bowl in February. At that time, Dave was still transitioning between Illinois and Ohio. So, we really have not been able to do much face to face at all, and it might be a little fun to get to know Dave a little better.

The first question I’m going to ask Dave is, what made you start looking for a job to be head of a Chamber?
